A 501 (C) (3) NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS, WHO ASSIST THOSE INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES DEALING WITH CANCER, HEALTH WELLNESS, WOMEN AND CHILDREN
Diagnosed with lung cancer in February 2011, Charles Bowlus survived only 6 months before passing away. He was young, only 64 years old. Everyone close to him was not only in shock but devastated. He was a positive influence on anyone’s life he has walked through and has impacted each one of them in some way, either personally or professionally. He was the most selfless person I knew. He had always taught to give to others that were less fortunate.
In February 2013, we wanted to honor him and continue his passion of improving quality of life to those in need. Barbara Birk and Melissa Bowlus Fontanella started Charles Bowlus Charities Inc. as a way to keep his memory and selflessness alive. We want to give back to the Greater Cleveland Community.
